We have a strong community focus and commitment and ensure that we support and continually contribute to the communities in which we live. Organisations we currently support as a firm include:
The Harry Meyn Foundation was founded by friends of the firm David & Samantha Meyn in memory of their son Harry who lost his life to a brain tumour at the age of seven. The foundation was initially established to raised funds for other childrens cancer charities including; Camp Quality, Kids with Cancer, Cure for Life & Lifehouse at RPA. In 2011 the foundation established Harry’s House at Stockton, a retreat for families that have a child living with cancer or families that have lost a child to cancer. Since opening in 2011, Harry’s House has helped many families when their child is diagnosed with cancer and families that are grieving for a child that they have lost to cancer.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service provides aeromedical and rescue services across the Hunter, New England – North West, Central Coast, Central West and Mid North Coast regions. This area covers approximately 132,000 square kilometers and includes a population of 1.2 million people. The WRHS operates 4 aircraft and currently undertakes more than 1000 missions each year. On the back of continued community support, no-one has ever paid to be airlifted from an emergency.
Camp Quality’s purpose is to create a better life for every child impacted by cancer in Australia.
The services they provide for children (0-13 years) impacted by cancer and their families help create a better life by building optimism and resilience throughout each stage of their cancer experience.
Right from diagnosis, throughout treatment and in remission or bereavement, Camp Quality programs support the whole family; at hospital, at home, back at school and away from it all.
We further support a number of charities and community organisations throughout the year including:
